SANDWICHES:
sandwiches if taken in a correct way can give you good nutrients. Load them with vegetables and use brown or whole wheat or multi grain breads. That will balance your need for nutrients.

SWEETNUT SANDWICH

Ingredients:

Walnuts-2tbsp  chopped
Almonds-2tbsp-chopped
Cucumber seeds-1tbsp
Pista unsalted-2tbsp chopped
Peanuts unsalted roasted-1tbsp chopped
Dates-3nos chopped
Pumpkin seeds-1tsp
Honey-1tsp
Lemon Juice-1tsp
Whole Wheat Bread-4pieces

Method:
Mix everything and stuff inside the bread. you can toast or simply eat as such.

Nutritional Info:

Full of good fats, protein and iron and complex sugars with traces of vit C and Magnesium and other minerals.

Good for all people especially mom to be and weak persons and kids as a breakfast




CHEESE CARROT SANDWICH

Ingredients:
Brown or whole wheat Bread slices-4 nos
shreaded carrot-5tbsp
Shredded less fat mozeralla Cheese-2tbsp
Fatless Mayonnaise or less fat Cream Cheese-2tbsp
Chopped Green Chillies-1tsp
Olive or Sesame oil-1 1/2 tsp
salt a pinch

Method:

Heat pan add oil and slightly fry shreaded carrots till it becomes soft. Add pinch of salt and remove from fire. Once cool add cheese and mayonnise and Green chillies. Cut the edges of brown bread. Spread the mixture on the bread serve just like that or toast it in tawa or sandwich maker.

Nutritional Info:
High in Vit A, carotene, high in Protein, calcium,phosphorous, iron and fat.
Persons have Obese, Diabetic and cholestrol and heart issues can avoid this sandwich as it has high in energy and fat. Good for kids

SPICY FUSION VEGGIE NOODLES INGREDIENTS Hakka Atta(wheat) Plain veg noodles- 250gms Beans, Carrots, Spring onins, Green Peas, -1 cup cut into thin pieces Onions-1 medium size chopped finely Soy sauce-2 tbsp Tomato sauce or puree-2tbsp Green chillies-2 nos cut into half Chillie powder-1tsp Pepper powder-2tbsp or as per your spicy tongue Cumin Seeds-1tsp Coriander Leaves-3tbsp Ginger-1 inch cut finely Garlic-5 cloves cut finely n chop Oil as needed salt as needed METHOD: Boil noodles in water. BEETROOT HUMMUS What makes beetroot hummus an absolute favourite in parties is the bright and peppy pink colour, besides the lip-smacking flavour of course. Top it with fresh herbs for some zing. Ingredients 2 cups of chickpeas, boiled 1 beetroot, peeled 4-5 garlic cloves ¼ cup of olive oil, plus extra for topping 1 tsp of sesame seeds 1 Tbsp of curd 1 tsp of cumin powder 2 Tbsp of lemon juice Salt to taste coriander leaves to garnish Method Oil and roast the beetroot on the stove or in an oven for 10 minutes. Let it cool. Then chop it into smaller pieces. In a pan, roast the sesame seeds until aromatic. Allow to cool and then ground into a powder. In a food processer or blender, mix chickpeas and garlic, and pulse until smooth. You can add a little water, if you find the mixture a little dry.
