SNACKS-stuffed capsicum

STUFFED CAPSICUM Ingredients: Capsicum-4 oil for stuffing potato boiled and mashed-3tbsp boiled sweet corn kernals-3tbsp sprouts of your choice-2 tbsp salt pepper oregano cauliflower or broccoli boiled and chopped-2tbsp cheese grated baby corn chopped-2tbsp mushroom chopped-2tbsp onions-2tbsp chopped tomatoes chopped-2tbsp coriander leaves chopped-1tbsp Maida dough for covering stuffs in capsicum Mayonnise Method: Heat pan and oil in it. Fry onions and other vegetables except coriander and tomatoes. When vegetables are fried add salt pepper powder and oregano.  Remove from fire let it cool. Meantime cut and remove the seeds from capsicum so that all stuffing can be placed inside. Apply oil inside and outside of capsicum. Once the stuffing is ready first layer with grated cheese and then vegetables and then tomato and coriander leaves and then again cheese. Then you can cover it with maida dough. Once everything is ready you can bake it or

PAYASAM SPECIAL

No feast is served without a dessert.....BUt for poojas and neivedhyams we do puddings and payasams.... As ganesha chathurthi is on the way i wanna share few payasam recipies that i love to make for lord ganesha..... 1. SEMIYA (VERMICELLI) PAYASAM No poojas without semiya payasam :-). Everyone loves this payasam so i m giving it first. Just make sure that the cooked vermicelli is not sticking together. Ingredients: semiya-100gms milk-1/2 litre Condensed milk-1/4 cup Sugar as needed(200 gms or less) nuts and raisns-2 tbsp Ghee-2 tbsp cardomom powder-1 tsp little water Method: Dry roast semiya till its turning gold lightly. then boil with little water . When the semiya is half cooked add the milk and let it boil until semiya is cooked. Add cardomom and condenced milk and then sugar. Let it simmer for few more minutes. If you want thicker payasam simmer more or else lean one add milk. Check for sugar. Once done remove from fire. Heat ghee in a pan add nuts and raisins. Saute till the

Hi friends I am just posting the recipes for time being as no time to upload pics.  Now let me go on Sundal varieties first and then to snacks and payasams and some rice varieties..... SUNDAL: Healthy way of snacking by boiling the pulses or grains and seasoning them.  I feel that if we keenly notice the prasadhams and their varieties it will somehow provides complete nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals all. Sundal gives us carbohydrates and proteins.  1.KADLAI PARUPPU SUNDAL Ingredients  Bengal gram/Kadalai paruppu -1 cup Grated coconut - 2 to 3 tbsp Mustard -1/2 tsp Hing -  pinch of it Urad dal - 1 tsp Green chilli - 2 finely chopped Red chilli - 1 Curry leaves - few Oil - 1 tspv for seasoning Method: Soak dhal for one hour and then pressure cook it until it is soft and mashable stage.
