sweet kanji/porridge

SWEET KANJI/SWEET PORRIDGE

INGREDIENTS:

Drumstick leaves-1 cup
Full Urad dhal or black urad dhal- 1 cup
Garlic crushed-6nos
Boiled rice or red rice or unpolished rice cooked-1/2 cup
Palm candy-as per taste
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Sprouted green gram dhal-1/2 cup



METHOD:

Cook all the ingredients except palm candy in a pressure cooker for 5 to 6 whistle or till cooked. Remove from fire. Once the pressure is down open and add powdered palm candy and mix well. Serve warm or hot.

NUTRITIONAL INFO:

Has High Protein, Calcium, Carbohydrate and Iron and antioxides and minerals. Makes your bone stronger and can be given to patience with low immunity, anaemic and calcium deficiency. Good for all the girls to make their hip bones stronger.
